Fall Layers

Oh my it’s FINALLY October! I think it’s my favorite month because it’s beautiful, Halloween, my birthday, and cooler temps. All good things in my book.

Speaking of cooler temps, it’s time to amp up the wardrobe with heavier pieces of clothing. It’s not quite heavy, insulated full length coat weather BUT a little extra will help transition into that phase.

I love vests because it’s an easy, no fuss way to add extra insulation without being too bulky. It can be cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and back to cool in a day. Keep up with that! With a ton of styles out there, what do you choose?! I’ve put together 3 looks depending on how you’re feeling. A little extra? A little sporty? Nope, not spice girl names just different occasions.

Add a cute hat or headband for warmth in those chilly mornings or evenings and you’re warm and stylish!

The North Face, Columbia, & Patagonia.

I love this comfortable, outdoor friendly look. The Columbia vest keeps you SO cozy along with The North Face gloves-maybe for a chilly, early morning walk? Patagonia is one of my favorite brands because the quality is fantastic! Their capilene 2 base layer is comfortable and convertible as the day warms if you need to shed the vest.

J. Crew, Eddie Bauer, & Express

Casual looks are what I wear 90% of the time. This look has my favorites-insulated vest and flannel! J.Crew doesn’t disappoint with their style and function with this vest. Warm and easy for layered looks.  When it comes to flannel I SWOON for all of them-probably why I have so many. Eddie Bauer has the softest material and quality that is unmatched. How about a little sparkle? Express makes the cutest cold weather accessories!

A little extra? Feeling fancy? A faux fur vest is a sure way to dress up any outfit. Along with keeping you cozy, this B.B. Dakota vest is a fall staple. Here is a similar style. Banana Republic is a go to brand for me because I can rely on their top notch designs. This blouse has the perfect deep forest green hue. Last, but least a wool hat to top off this luxury look.

xoxo
